Welcome to my world!

Thanks so much for stopping by my little piece of the cyberspace world! My name is Melissa Prosser and I eat, sleep, and breathe photography. I absoultely adore what I do and hope that joy reflects back in my work. I absolutely love photographing weddings. This day is FULL of emotions that I adore capturing.

My style of photography is a blend of documentary with a fashion portraiture twist. I want your wedding photos to reflect your day and your personality. I will never tell you to "say cheese!" I want you to be able to relive your day through the photos that I take. Please also check out an INTERVIEW with me! This will help answer a bunch of questions I'm sure!

I am also an award winning member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association and the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association. These are WORLDWIDE associations that recognize wedding photographers for their work. It is an honor to be a member of these fantastic groups, let alone winning an awards! I am also a member of the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers.

April 18, 2009 | Molly & Mike’s Wedding in Augusta

So this post was on my old blog, but I love some of these photos from Molly & Mike’s wedding too much to not feature them big style on this new layout! I assited my bud Patrick Williams at Molly & Mike’s wedding in Augusta. This was a real highlight for me because it was in an OLD historic building. For those of you who know me well, I love old buildings that have stories, cool architecture, and just a presence. Well, the Marion Hatcher Center completely filled that bill for me. Not to mention that Molly & Mike were cool as could be! Here are a few of my favorites from their day.
