]]> http://www.melissaprosser.com/blog/noah-maguire-is-here-january-29-2012/feed/ 0 All Aboard the Polar Express! http://www.melissaprosser.com/blog/all-aboard-the-polar-express/ http://www.melissaprosser.com/blog/all-aboard-the-polar-express/#comments Tue, 20 Dec 2011 19:58:09 +0000 mprosser http://www.melissaprosser.com/blog/?p=12024 If you go over to my sister’s house, it’s Thomas the train and Polar Express ALL day EVERY day.  Lots of choo choos, chugga chuggas, etc etc.  If you come to my house, same thing!  My fiance Bobby has been collecting trains since he was a little boy and has more train memorabilia and cars then I have ever seen!  Not sure who was more excited, the little ones, or the big ones!  Needless to say, we all had a FANTASTIC time heading up to Bryson City, North Carolina to go ride a real live Polar Express experience!  My parents rented a cabin that was literally on the top of a mountain (my sister was freaked out the entire drive up, and down, no matter how many times we did the trek) and took us on the train ride for our Christmas gift this year.  Thanks so much guys!  We all had an absolute blast.  Let’s do it again!  Here are some highlights from our weekend.

I’ll start with a photo of my adorable parents since they are the reason for this trip!The night sky was beautiful since we were in the middle of no where!Amazing sunrise over the smoky mountainsI enjoy my coffee with a side of sunshine.My handsome fianceThe Hodges familyThat’s where we are!This train museum was madness.  I think it got my Bobby thinking…Pajamas are how we roll…Imagine that, I got in a family photo!My BobbyLittle BobbyI think this is my favorite image of the whole trip.  Quin is SO excited to get on the train with Uncle Bobby!  They talk about Uncle Bobby all the time since he loves trains too!All aboard the Polar Express!They had tickets like the movie and book!  So cute!mmmmmThis lovely lady was our host on the Champion train car.  She danced, sang, and brought us hot chocolate!  Hooray!Catch that cookie!The conducter came by and punched all the little ones’s tickets!This face says it all.We had a few guests come by too!  Even got a few bells to take home.

He is a super playful, sweet dog, but really needs to live on a big piece of property.  Possibly a farm… Amber has two little ones that she chases around enough, she doesn’t need to chase the dog too!  If you or someone you know wants a dog, and has the space for Dutch to roam like he wants to, PLEASE let us know!  Leave a comment here and I’ll pass it onto Amber.  Let’s find this sweet boy the perfect forever home!
