Happy Halloween!

Its that time of year again! Time for puking pumpkins, witches brew, mummies, and COSTUMES! I helped my good friend Katrina Rice last night at her annual halloween bash. My mom and I helped cater some of the ghoulishly delicious treats, I carved my signature pumpkins, and of course took some photos of the fun Enjoy the photos!

It is sad but true, the Harry Potter saga has come to an end. Having one of your closet friends in the movie industry gives much reason to throw a party for such an occasion! It was time for yet another fabulous party at the now famous Ricewood Manor (where zombies abound, alice frolics with rabbits, and the occasional wedding). Katrina and Co did an incredible job of turning her house into our own Hogwarts, complete with Butter Beer and a spread of food that was mouth watering! After playing a round of Quidditch (without brooms) we went to see the final movie. It was so much fun!

Every year my friend Katrina throws the best Halloween Party around. Seriously. This girl changes the total decor for her house just for the party! Even with her working on a movie right now, the Woodland crew teamed up and made the party another smash success! Here are a few fun photos of the night by yours truly

Date Night Magazine launch | Altorex Lounge | July 21, 2010

I was recently contacted by Jaime Luckey who is the creator of Date Night Magazine to photograph a launch party. I immediately went to check out her site, and it is AMAZING! It’s an online magazine that is a wealth of information for the dating world. Advice about how to act on dates, funny stories, and of course great date ideas for the city of Atlanta. What a cool concept! The party was held at AltoRex Rooftop Lounge and was hosted by my favorite lady on radio Jenn Hobby of The Bert Show. It was a super fun event to be a part of!

SO, you may remember, I have a crazy bunch of friends right (see ZOMBIES and HALLOWEEN )? Well Katrina Rice likes to throw a KICKIN party! When my roomate (her old roomate) Shauna decided it was finally time for her to move to Cali, Katrina hosted an incredible Playboy Pool party to say farewell, and kick off the summer at Ricewood (her house). Of course, as always I was there to have fun, but I am not going to let a costume party go undocumented! We had such a blast at this party. I will miss my dear friend Shauna, but I know she’s only a plane ride away!

Zombie Princess Party | October 3, 2009

If you know me well, you know that Halloween is by FAR one of my all time favorite days of the year. I also am a big fan of horror films, whether they be spoofs, or supposedly scary. Well, my dear friend Katrina Rice worked props on the film Zombieland this summer. Katrina loves to throw a good party, so she got thrift store dresses for all her friends, covered them in blood, and threw a party to celebrate the release of the film. She even rented the moon bounce from the movie to recreate the Zombie Princess Party Scene! We had a professional makeup artist do our makeup, ate vegan Twinkies (Katrina had to learn how to make these for our favorite Vegan Zombie Slayer) and went to see the movie at Atlantic Station in our zombie attire! It was SO much fun! I couldn’t help myself photographing everyone in the moon bounce. It was too fun not too! I can’t WAIT to see what she does for actual Halloween!!!

Dr. Middlebrooks was a teacher at Spelman College for over 40 years! Family and Friends celebrated this achievement with a party in Dr. Middlebrooks honor at the University’s campus. These are a few of my favorite moments of the day, but as always there is more to see in the SLIDESHOW!!!
