Gretchen & Adam’s Backyard Wedding | March 20, 2010

Gretchen and Adam are dear friends of mine that live in my neighborhood.  This sweet couple has known each other for I believe about eight years, has an adorable little son named Beckley, and decided to throw their wedding in my friend Katrina’s backyard!  If you have followed my blog for a while, you will remember that we throw quite some shindigs in her yard.  It’s only fitting that it was time for her to host a wedding!  This event  was truly a labor of love.  All of our friends in the area came together to make this happen.  Katrina hosted the event, Chris and Faith (across the street neighbors) helped with setup, planting flowers, you name it… our Shauna who was in town from L.A did anything and everything she could to assist, my mom catered the food, and I took the photos!  Even Gretchen’s fabulous dress was custom made by her friend Erin. We all pulled together for our friends and made their wedding a success!  Here are some photos of their big day.  I should also probably mention that the invitation (that I also made) said 40s dinner attire encouraged.
