Gretchen Zarett | Our preferred stylist!

I would like to introduce you all to the beautiful and talented Gretchen Zarett!  Gretchen is the preferred stylist and makeup artist for Melissa Prosser Photography.  Her rates are super affordable, and she herself has been in front of my camera lens a few times.  Check out how fabulous she looked at her own wedding!

Gretchen is a makeup artist and stylist, but even better, she knows what it is like to be on the other side of the camera, and has worked with me countless times.  She is a HUGE asset to add to your wedding day.

Here is what Gretchen says about working on weddings:

I have always thought of memories as miniature movies that we play back in our minds. We are the stars of these moments and why should we be treated as anything less during the making of these memories. I have spent my career in the entertainment and beauty industries striving to make this a reality for all of my clients.Yes, I am a make-up artist, but I see myself as so much more. It is more art than make, and involves more thought than science. Every moment is like a scene from your own “mini-series” of life and we all know that it takes an entire crew to produce such a magnificient event that always has a fairytale ending. Weddings seem to always stand out when we replay these images in our minds and I love being a part of making them perfect.I have worked on every kind of project you can imagine, from Sci-fi to Circus and from Fashion to Film, from Commercial to Comedy, but the beauty of a wedding no matter if part of a project or someone’s big day always gets a little more magical when I get involved. Everything from the hair to the lip gloss should be perfect , I pride myself on maintaining picture perfect beauty fit for the red carpet. After all it is the premiere of your marriage.
