Well it’s been a bit since I had the chance to do an engagement shoot. Summer time engagement sessions are less popular because of the heat, and simply because I am full swing in weddings! It was really nice to take a weekday evening and sneak off to Piedmont Park for some fun with Jim and Ruth to capture these moments. This pair goes to the park all the time with their ADORABLE dog Tesla, so it was the perfect backdrop for their session! We started this shoot around 7:30 and the light was magical. I'm in love with this shot. Who says engagement sessions can't be photojournalistic? This actually relates to the couple too. Ruth told me she's a runner, so even better!
