This wedding was a sort of full circle event for me. I have known John Pirtle for quite a long time. SO long that I used to babysit his children! Needless to say, when asked if I would photograph his wedding, of course I said yes! This wedding also marked another first for me. John and Erica were my first clients to plan their day around when I was available! What an honor!
The couple got married in a small church in Winder. This was quite fun to shoot such a small intimate affair. It was very evident that the family has been in this area for a long time. Erica got ready in a house that her friend had lived in since she was 6 months old! WOW! You don’t hear of that anymore today!
