Welcome to my world!

Thanks so much for stopping by my little piece of the cyberspace world! My name is Melissa Prosser and I eat, sleep, and breathe photography. I absoultely adore what I do and hope that joy reflects back in my work. I absolutely love photographing weddings. This day is FULL of emotions that I adore capturing.

My style of photography is a blend of documentary with a fashion portraiture twist. I want your wedding photos to reflect your day and your personality. I will never tell you to "say cheese!" I want you to be able to relive your day through the photos that I take. Please also check out an INTERVIEW with me! This will help answer a bunch of questions I'm sure!

I am also an award winning member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association and the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association. These are WORLDWIDE associations that recognize wedding photographers for their work. It is an honor to be a member of these fantastic groups, let alone winning an awards! I am also a member of the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers.

Krista & Chris’s Engagement Session | Wolf Mountain Vineyards | May 21, 2010

For those of you who know me well, you know how much I LOVE Wolf Mountain Vineyards. This is a small family owned winery in the Dahlonega area that has the BEST wine you will ever taste out of Georgia. Not to mention that it has one of the best views of the mountains, has the best staff, best food, and best wedding venue in the North Georgia area

When Krista and Chris said to pick a spot for their engagement shoot, I thought this would fit them perfectly! They are getting married at Brasstown Valley Resort this fall, so I figured a mountain backdrop would be perfect!
