Welcome to my world!

Thanks so much for stopping by my little piece of the cyberspace world! My name is Melissa Prosser and I eat, sleep, and breathe photography. I absoultely adore what I do and hope that joy reflects back in my work. I absolutely love photographing weddings. This day is FULL of emotions that I adore capturing.

My style of photography is a blend of documentary with a fashion portraiture twist. I want your wedding photos to reflect your day and your personality. I will never tell you to "say cheese!" I want you to be able to relive your day through the photos that I take. Please also check out an INTERVIEW with me! This will help answer a bunch of questions I'm sure!

I am also an award winning member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association and the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association. These are WORLDWIDE associations that recognize wedding photographers for their work. It is an honor to be a member of these fantastic groups, let alone winning an awards! I am also a member of the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers.

Kristen & TJ’s Engagement Session | Cumming, GA | April 9, 2010

Spring is HERE! But so is the pollen I refuse to let that pollen keep me cooped up indoors though! Kristen wanted me to come to her house first for this session to take a few photos of her and TJ with their dogs, well I was AMAZED when I rolled up to their property. Kristen’s whole family lives within walking distance from each other, on this INCREDIBLE piece of land! So much green space, trees, and just beautiful scenery! TJ actually built the house that Kristen and him will live in after their wedding with Kristen’s Dad! Pretty cool spot to take photos huh? We also took a quick drive to Poole’s Mill Park to take a few too The plan was to shoot at the park, but I just fell in love with their land, so here is the results!
