Nisy & Kevin’s Engagement Session | December 29, 2010

Nisy and Kevin got LUCKY with the weather for our engagement session! The snow had melted, and it was the warmest day we had seen in Georgia in about a month! We took full advantage of the beautiful day and snapped these images in downtown Decatur. Such a sweet couple! Can’t wait to work with you guys on your wedding day in April! Below are a few favorites, but see their SLIDESHOW for way more fun!

These two shots are PERFECT examples of how one location can look completely different just depending on how your settings on the camera are. This one is mainly natural light.

And this one is exposed for the sky and sun. My assistant blasted them with a flash from the corner. Pretty cool right?

So, let me start this post by saying how much I LOVE MY JOB! I feel very blessed that in todays economy, I can say that phrase, and have so much work to do!

I have been fortunate to have some pretty amazing clients in the past week. I wanted to show you a little “sneak peek” of full events to be blogged about within the next few weeks. Just couldn’t wait to share! Enjoy the few photos from each!

Mandy and Craig are first up to bat! They had a INCREDIBLE outdoor ceremony in Athens on April 10th. As I was sorting through these photos I kept screaming at my roomate about how PRECIOUS this couple is! You could just feel the love between the two of them everytime they looked at each other. I found myself tearing up at their wedding, and just sorting through the photos. Seriously guys, you can’t get a much sweeter couple than the Mandy and Craig!

Next up is engagement city! I didn’t have a wedding this past weekend, but took full advantage of not and had THREE engagement sessions! I really love doing engagement shoots. It really allows me to get to know the couple and become friends before the wedding day!

Friday I took photos of Amanda and Craig. I have been friends with Amanda for a little while (small group wedding number two!) so it was extra fun to take these photos of her and Craig We had a blast walking around downtown near the Fox (where they are getting married on July 31) and then headed up to Marietta (where they started dating).

I love this little smile that Amanda has before kissing Craig. So precious!

We ended our shoot with a beer in downtown Marietta

Saturday was fun times with Veronica and Marcus! I have never met such an energetic couple! We had a great time enjoying a little time together at my favorite restaurant AGAVE then dodging the crowds (and cops) at Atlantic Station to get a more “city night life” shoot

Sunday’s engagement shoot had me hanging out in the country with Leigh and Brad! Brad’s granddaddy has an AMAZING farm property out in Madison (where the couple is getting married), so we took some time to wander around the property and take some photos. I really enjoyed getting to go off roading in my Scion XB. It was quite fun! Thanks Leigh for thinking of this location. I really enjoyed getting to see another side of Georgia!

I don't even think this photo looks like it's in Georgia! Maybe in Africa or something?

Brad's grand dad also has PLANES! We got to see them take off and take a few with it. Definitely a first for me!

To all my couples, I really am extremely touched that you have chosen me to be a part of your lives! I feel so honored to be trusted to take photos of these memories that will last forever I love you all!

Wendy & Jason’s Engagement Session | Stone Mountain, GA | February 27, 2010

I have been wanting to photograph a couple at Stone Mountain Park for quite some time! Lucky for me, Jason grew up in the area, and knew the park like the back of his hand! We had some great fun photographing on his home turf with his beautiful fiance Wendy the Saturday before their wedding!!!

Stacie & Jeff’s Engagement Session | Downtown Old Norcross | February 7, 2010

First engagement shoot of 2010! Hooray! This was a great one to start off the year with! Stacie and Jeff are an absolutely adorable couple! We had such a great time taking these photos, I can’t wait until their wedding on August 14th!

Kelli & Ashton had their very first date at Lake Lanier Islands Nights of Lights, so what better way to photograph them then were it all began! You can’t get a cuter couple than Lauren and Alex! We had so much fun wandering around Norcross and Roswell enjoying the fall weather and taking these pictures. Lauren and I used to be in a small group bible study together, so I was ecstatic when she asked me to be her photographer!
